We are still accepting donations to cover cost of our community park.  Donation can be made here on our site by clicking on the Donate button.  Donations can also be sent by mail to Riverwood Community Park, Wings Point, NL  A0G 3TO.  Cheques are to be made payable to Funds for Fun Playground Committee.  We thank you in advance!!!!

keep watching for an update so you can sign up to volunteer on June 15 as we try to finish off this project.  Mark your calendars, we will need all the help we can get and hopefully the park will be completed for everyone to enjoy this summer!!!!

Cold Plate Sale

Don't forget to order your coldplate for May 25.  Coldplates can be picked up at the community center in Wing's Point between 12-2 on Saturday May 25.  Pay for your coldplate when you come to pick them up, cost $7.  Thank you for  your support as we continue to work together to make our community a better place.

Build Day June 15, 2013

Mark your calendars June 15, 2013 will be our second build day!!!  On June 15 we would like everyone to join us again as we lay sod for our field and develop our walking trail along with a few extras.  It will be a fun day again.  We will have a registration link on our website soon where you can sign up.

Welcome Back to Phase II of our School Playground/Community Park.  Last year was such a successfull year and Build Day couldn't of been any better.  The committee would like to extend a BIG THANK-YOU to everyone who helped in anyway.  As you seen from Build Day the end result was worth every penny and all the hard work that went into it.  We will continue now with Phase II where we will be organizing some fun fundraisers in the community as we did last year.  Our fundraising this year will not be as intense as we have the bulk of our project completed.  We hope that you will come out and continue to support us as we move forwad.  Stay tune for an announcement of the date of our build day where we will add to our project.   Once again thank your for all your support and we look forward to seeing everyone come out and support us as we continue to make our community a better place for all.
